Mane Content was born out of a belief in the incredibly talented people residing in Northern Michigan. Our producers, writers, directors, editors, cinematographers, and licensed drone pilots have a deep appreciation and passion for great storytelling. Tapping into our experience across all areas of production allows us to work with a variety of clients from national to small businesses. We love creating video and we love the personal joy we get from every project. Our Mission is to empower people and brands through thoughtful creative content.

Mane Content began as the television production arm of 9&10 News, a CBS affiliate in Traverse City, Michigan.

We started out creating exceptional pieces for local clients that put our name at the top of Northern Michigan. Now we produce creative across the state and country. We are lucky to live in a spectacular scenic city where we are inspired every day by not only the views, but the strong community.

Nate Farran brings 15 years of experience in branding & marketing. Nate has a keen eye for creative content and a passionate sense of understanding for each individual client. He proudly lives in Traverse City and is actively involved within the community. Nate is an avid cyclist and extreme sport enthusiest . Nate’s resume includes the branding and overall strategies behind Elevated Beverages, M22, and EveryWhereUGO.

Hans Schoonover

Producer/Cinematographer/Editor

Driven by a passion for visual arts and writing, Hans Schoonover’s career began in Traverse City creating promotional video campaigns. His path led him to New York where he honed his skills as a writer/producer; earning the privilege of doing work for HBO Films, Cinemax On-Air Promotions, MetLife, Eastman Kodak, The Discovery Channel, Showtime, and others.  A job offer from his hometown brought him back to Traverse City where he’s spent the better part of 25 years deepening his skill set to include motion picture production, live event production, directing, videography, video editing, and photography. His time outside of work is spent enjoying family life and raising 5 children with his wife Kirstin; cooking, doing home projects, and exploring the wonder of Northern Michigan.

Morgan Burke-Beyers started his career as a television News Producer in 2007 where he perfected his video storytelling skills. He eventually moved to a Station Manager role where he was offered the opportunity to freelance full time for a travel television show. Morgan is an icon in his community with leading production rolls in TEDx Traverse City and Traverse City Film Festival. In 2017 Morgan, his wife Jamie Kramer, and local musician Miriam Pico left to document the relief efforts in Puerto Rico resulting in a short documentary creating awareness of the horrific situation many were living in. Morgan and his family love to travel and experience different cultures. They are always ready for the next adventure!

Alice Shea

Producer

Alice Shea is a journalist-turned-creative producer, with a passion for exploring new ways to reach and communicate with her community. Recognized as an award winning copy writer she has experience in both broadcast and commercial writing. Alice is skilled in creating compelling, audience-driven copy to fit a variety of mediums and occasions. When she isn’t working, you’ll find her enjoying some quality time with friends and family, re-watching her favorite TV shows, or dreaming about being a better cook.
