Goal: Create a thought-provoking PSA to inform viewers about the prominent issue of human trafficking, and break the assumption that it’s not happening in northern Michigan.
Result: Three powerful and compelling videos that draw attention to the issue of human trafficking in our area, while showing viewers what to look out for.
Project Details
One woman’s tragic past is now helping her shape a brighter future for Michigan youth. After suffering years of abuse in the world of human trafficking, Leslie King is using her experience to help save others from a similar path. Mane Content teamed up with King and the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians to create a PSA that sheds light on the truth about human trafficking – including that it’s happening in northern Michigan, even if we don’t think we see it.
